By accessing this website, and by participating in any Braintrust Professional Institute Program (eg. courses, ongoing professional development program, management training, keynotes, or Impact Programs), you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site, and should not participate in any Braintrust Programs. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

All content on this website is owned by Pinetree Advisors Inc, which operates the Braintrust Professional Institute, (collectively, the "Company").

Permission is granted to use the materials on Company's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

a) modify or copy the materials.
b) use the materials for any commercial purpose, internal organizational purpose, nor for any public display (commercial or non-commercial), without a signed agreement from the Company.
c) attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Company's website.
d) remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notations from the materials.
e) copy, distribute, or transfer the materials to another person or 'mirror' the materials on any other server.

Upon payment of a particular course fee, one person is granted a licence to use the material in that course for their own professional development purposes. This license is not transferable, not sublicencable, and expires 24 months after the initial payment. If an organization licenses Company content, details of that license will be provided within their signed agreement.

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Company at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any copied/downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.

Coaching Cancellations

If you schedule a Coaching session we will hold that date and time for you, and it means that the Company will be unavailable to other clients in that time slot. For this reason, if you cancel or change the meeting within one week of the scheduled date and time, the meeting will be forfeited and a fee will be charged to reschedule.

Disclaimer

The materials on the Company's website, Braintrust Programs, and any conversations within the context of a coaching relationship are provided 'as is'. Company makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, Company does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of its coaching services and training materials (on this site or delivered "live") or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site. You acknowledge that the Company's training and coaching services are not a substitute for legal, accounting, tax, or other advice, and should not be relied on as such.

30 Day Money Back Guarantee for Courses

If you have completed at least 50% of a course, and are unsatisfied with it for any reason, we will refund your entire fee. To help us improve the course in the future, we ask only that you spend a few minutes with us over Zoom. This money back guarantee applies to individual courses that are purchased, and does not apply to other Braintrust Programs (eg. Keynotes, Coaching, Management Training, Advisory Services, Impact Programs, or Done-for-you CPD.)

Limitations

In no event shall the Company, its employees, subcontractors, partners, agents, or its suppliers be liable for any damages or losses, (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on this platform, live training or advisory service, or knowledge from a Coaching session, even if Company or a Company authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

Revisions and Errata

The materials appearing on the Company's website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Company does not warrant that any of the materials (whether delivered through this platform or otherwise) are accurate, complete, or current. Company may make changes to its materials at any time without notice. Company does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

The Company has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Internet website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Company of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.

Terms of Use Modifications

Company may revise these terms of use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website and/or the services provided by Company you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

Governing Law

Any claim relating to Company's website shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
